About the Role
This isn't a passive task-ticker role—it's a true operational right-hand position for a busy, relationship-first US construction and trade services business. As a senior CoWorqer, you will step in as the strategic partner to the business owners, Tom and Aimee.
Your main mission is to clear the administrative noise, protect Tom’s time, and keep the operational engine running seamlessly behind the scenes. If you naturally think steps ahead, love bringing structural order to busy environments, and take deep pride in being the dependable anchor a leadership team relies on, this role was built for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Executive Partnership: Act as a trusted right hand to the principals—anticipating logistical needs, managing Tom's calendar, and protecting his focus.
Project & Field Administration: Track material orders, handle General Contractor (GC) and builder follow-up communications, and maintain project management tools (Housecall Pro).
Document Architecture: File and organize bid plans, change orders, and contracts within a clean, logical Dropbox structure.
Inbox & Systems Optimization: Manage email flows, consolidate and clean up legacy email accounts, and build/refine clear, actionable SOPs that elevate team efficiency.
Accountability & Alignment: Hold the principals tactfully accountable to their own follow-ups, proactively flag bottlenecks before they disrupt operations, and submit a concise End-of-Week (EOW) report every Friday.
What We're Looking For
Industry-Specific Background: Minimum of 2+ years of experience directly within the home services, construction, or trade industry. You must already understand the workflow pace and trade terminology.
Systems Builder Mindset: Proven experience designing workflows, creating SOPs, and managing digital workspaces that teams actually adopt. You must be fluent in both Microsoft and Google environments.
Tech-Savvy Facilitator: Highly comfortable utilizing Dropbox, WhatsApp, and Claude or ChatGPT Teams, paired with the patience to guide and support non-tech-native principals.
Assertive yet Professional Communicator: Exceptional C1/C2 verbal and written English. You possess the professional confidence and tact to keep busy executives organized and on track without overstepping.
Outcome-Driven Remote Worker: You are a self-managed executor who measures success by project completion and structural integrity, thriving within a relationship-first, high-trust company culture.
