About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, high-energy Executive Assistant who has a background with sales and marketing to serve as the strategic partner to our founder, Jenn. This isn't a role for someone who just waits for a to-do list; we need a "right-hand" who brings ideas to the table, anticipates needs, and has a deep understanding of sales and social media marketing.
The ideal candidate must be able to capture and execute Jenn's specific "New York" voice—bold, high-personality, and authentic. You will be responsible for everything from deep-dive lead research to managing a multi-platform social presence, all while ensuring our CRM stays organized. If you are a self-starter who can "manage up" and navigate the nuances of high-level relationship management, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative: Systems & Organization
CRM Management: Maintain and organize candidate resumes within the CRM, ensuring every profile is accurately tagged based on industry for quick retrieval.
Network Management: Maintain a strategic "Keep in Touch" list; proactively identifying who Jenn needs to reach out to and managing the outreach workflow to maintain key relationships.
Event Support: Assist Jenn and her Managing Partner in the upcoming coordination of exclusive events, such as "Dinner with Female Founders."
2. Marketing: Content & Brand Authority
SEO monitoring: Monitor and optimize the website to ensure it is search engine optimized and performing effectively.
Social Media: Create, edit, caption, and post content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and X. This includes active engagement and community management.
Content Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media calendar.
Editorial: Write, post, and manage LinkedIn articles that resonate with Jenn’s audience and establish thought leadership.
3. Client Acquisition: Research & Outreach
Strategic Prospecting: Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research target industries, identify key decision-makers, and map out company hierarchies.
High-Conversion Outreach: Draft and send messages to key decision-makers using compelling copy that "forces" an open and drives a response. No AI-sounding templates—only high-impact, personalized communication.
Requirements
Sales & Marketing Background: Proven background in sales and social media marketing. You must be someone who offers suggestions and strategy rather than just executing tasks.
The "Voice": Ability to write and communicate in a "New York" style—personable, sharp, and authentic. You must be willing to spend time studying Jenn’s tone to ensure no content sounds like it was generated by AI.
Tech Savvy: Expert-level command of tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tagging systems, and the use of SEO.
Social Media Fluency: Deep understanding of the nuances between LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and Instagram.
Proactive Personality: Strong ability to work independently, manage Jenn’s outreach list without being prompted, and keep the business moving forward.
Availability: Must be able to work during US Pacific Timezone hours.
