About the Role

You will provide comprehensive operations support across GS1/barcode management, marketplace platforms, inventory systems, administrative tasks, and ad-hoc e-commerce execution. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills, experience managing multiple platforms, and the ability to maintain clean data across inventory, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency across D2C, Amazon, wholesale, and administrative functions.

Ideal Candidate: Someone proactive and communicates well. Familiarity with at least 2 of the major tools (Amazon Seller Central, Katana MRP, Shopify)—but above all, a fast learner who can quickly master new tools and platforms

Key Responsibilities: ( Note: Responsibilities listed will be implemented through a 30-60-90 day onboarding plan and will be given by timeline )

GS1 / Barcodes & SKUs

  • Create GS1 codes correctly and ensure barcodes and labels align perfectly with your product catalog and existing inventory

  • Maintain a clean mapping of GS1 codes to SKUs, product names, and packaging, and keep related spreadsheets updated

Marketplace & Wholesale Platform Management

  • Manage and optimize your Faire wholesale portal (e.g., following guides, setting up promos/ads, implementing best practices that Faire shares via self-serve resources)

  • Manage Awin (affiliate platform): monitoring new publishers, approvals, and commissions, and making sure activity on the platform is not ignored

  • Support basic work on Walmart.com bundles as needed (coordinating with your existing ads contractors as relevant)

Inventory & Katana Operations Support

  • Support the finance/ops function in Katana: placing purchase orders, linking them to SKUs, updating ETAs, adjusting invoices if costs change, and marking items as received so products move into inventory correctly

  • Flag issues such as apparent stockouts on the website vs. actual inventory on hand and coordinate with your supply chain manager to ensure clean communication

Admin & Executive Assistance

  • Calendar management and light email management as needed to protect your executive time

  • Maintain internal spreadsheets (wholesale pricing sheets, GS1 tracking, channel-specific pricing or promo trackers)

  • Manage your LinkedIn business page and support your own LinkedIn presence with appropriate, business-appropriate content drawn from your brand's activity

  • Coordinate directly with your existing marketing contractors (social media, paid ads, SEO, YouTube/algorithm support) when operational tasks or content updates intersect with their work

Amazon, Shopify, and Content Execution (ad hoc)

  • Go into your Amazon Seller portal to upload new pictures, assets, and A+ content once your designers provide the creative

  • Implement changes and updates in Shopify so the website, SKUs, and product data are fully aligned with Katana and GS1 codes

  • Ensure SKU synchronization between Shopify and Katana so inventory is tracked properly and stock levels reflect reality across channels

Tools You'll Be Using

Katana MRP, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Faire wholesale portal, Awin affiliate platform, Walmart.com, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, LinkedIn

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)

  • Proven expertise in wholesale operations

  • Knows atleast 2 of the major tools to be used ( Amazon Seller Central, Katana MRP, Shopify )

  • Demonstrated skills in executive calendar/email management and cross-functional coordination with marketing teams

  • Ability to execute operational tasks integrating supply chain, content execution, and sales platforms

Preferred Skills & Qualities

  • Someone tech savvy and can learn fast on the tools needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with inventory management systems (Katana MRP preferred)
  • Familiarity with GS1 barcode standards and SKU management
  • Wholesale marketplace experience (Faire, Awin, or similar platforms)
  • Experience with Shopify and Amazon Seller Central
  • Comfortable managing multiple platforms and coordinating between teams
  • Excellent written English communication
  • Proactive problem-solver with ability to flag issues early
  • Familiarity with e-commerce operations and supply chain coordination
