This is a remote, flexible role that will evolve as the project grows — you'll have real ownership over the film's online presence from early on. You'd be joining a project at an exciting stage — one where your work will genuinely shape how the world first discovers this film. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is your chance to be part of something that starts before the lights go up. We're looking for a Social Media Manager to help build the audience and excitement around an upcoming film — from the ground up. You'll be the voice behind the project online, crafting the story that pulls people in before they ever see a single frame. If you love film, live on social media, and know how to turn a small following into a passionate community, this role was made for you.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Developing and executing a social media strategy designed to build buzz and grow an audience ahead of the film's release
  • Creating and scheduling content across platforms — think behind-the-scenes features, cast spotlights, trailer drops, countdowns, and press highlights
  • Engaging with followers, responding to comments, and actively nurturing a growing community around the project
  • Tracking performance metrics and using real data to refine and improve the content strategy over time
  • Coordinating with the production team to source photos, clips, and stills for content
  • Researching and reaching out to entertainment press, bloggers, and influencers to secure promotional coverage
  • Supporting any crowdfunding or audience-building campaigns connected to the film
What We're Looking For
  • You have a strong grasp of social media trends, platform algorithms, and what works in the entertainment space
  • You have a creative eye — you can write a caption that stops the scroll, build a consistent brand voice, and craft a narrative that keeps people coming back
  • You have real experience growing organic audiences and managing content calendars
  • You're proactive, organized, and comfortable working closely with a creative team
  • A genuine love of film and storytelling is a big plus
