Equipment Requirements: Must possess your own active Revit software license, high-speed internet, and reliable power backup.
Core Mission: Jump directly into an active commercial project to execute architectural drafting, review existing BIM models, and produce permit-ready construction document sets for a Ramada conversion.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly technical Estimator / Draftee to join our team on a project basis to drive architectural drafting and construction documentation for a Ramada hospitality conversion project.
In this role, you will review existing BIM files, complete complex architectural models, and independently assemble permit-ready construction document (CD) sheets in compliance with US building codes. If you are a precision-driven CoWorqer with deep Revit expertise, strong familiarity with US commercial standards, and the ability to deliver accurate drawing sets on a tight project timeline, this seat is built for you.
What You'll Be Doing
BIM File Review & Modeling: Conduct detailed reviews of existing BIM models, identifying gaps and building out accurate architectural geometry in Revit.
Construction Documentation: Independently draft, detail, and assemble permit-ready architectural drawing sheets for a commercial hospitality conversion project.
Code & Standards Compliance: Apply rigorous US building code standards, accessibility requirements, and regional drafting guidelines across all produced sheets.
Estimating & Takeoffs Support: Assist in reviewing architectural scopes and extracting accurate material takeoffs and estimates directly from model data as needed.
Project Delivery: Coordinate technical details to keep the project on schedule for permit submission within the 1-month timeline.
What We're Looking For (Non-Negotiables)
Advanced Revit Proficiency (Non-Negotiable): Expert-level capability in Revit modeling, family creation, and CD set production. You can generate permit-ready sheets independently with zero structural oversight.
US Building Standards Expertise: Proven experience preparing construction documentation tailored to US building codes and local permit submission guidelines.
Professional Discipline: Educational and professional background in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
Required Technical Setup: Own an active Revit license, high-speed internet, and a dependable power backup setup to ensure uninterrupted productivity.
